Full / Solid cone spray nozzles
Solid cone spray nozzles, or full cone nozzles as they're otherwise known, produce a solid cone-shaped spray pattern with a round or square impact area. They usually produce medium to large sized droplets for uniform distribution at a range of pressures and flow rates.
In some full cone spray nozzle designs, unlike hollow cone nozzles, the spray is produced using internal vanes. However, if clogging may be an issue for you, there are unique coreless designs to combat this. Full cone nozzles can also be arranged either in-line or at a right angle tangential design to suit application and equipment configuration.

Why use solid/full cone spray nozzles?
Full cone nozzles are incredibly versatile and there are several types and designs available depending on application. They also come in different materials, so whether you require industrial stainless steel nozzles, brass or plastic nozzles, there are materials and designs for every need.
Applications for solid cone nozzles include:
- Water spraying nozzles - washing/rinsing
- Dust control
- Cooling metals, coke and other materials
- Fire suppression
- Foam spray nozzles - aeration/de-aeration
- Gas scrubbing, rinsing and cooling
Whilst full cone nozzles are incredibly effective as standard water spray and atomising nozzles, they can also be used for chemical spraying and for foam-based applications. They are excellent as both low and high pressure nozzles and across varying flow rates.
